Product 01 · Analytics

Know the basis before the open.

Cheapest-to-deliver assignments, conversion factors and delivery schedules, held as live shared data instead of a workbook one analyst owns. One card. It runs on its own, or as a section inside FinXTrader.

The problem

Delivery data is usually one file, on one machine.

The basket changes, the conversion factors get recalculated, the roll approaches, and the record of all of it is a spreadsheet that gets emailed around. It is correct right up until the morning it is not, and when it goes wrong there is no way to see when it changed or who changed it.

FinXAnalytics puts the same table on the server. Every trader reads the same scenarios. An edit made on one desk appears on the others while they are looking at it, and the footer always says who saved last and at what time.

What is in the card

Three sections, one permission model.

Which sections a user sees follows the permissions on their account, so a research analyst can be given the CTD table without being handed anything that can place an order.

Section 01

CTD scenarios

An inline editable grid of futures contract, CTD bond, delivery date and conversion factor. Click a cell and type. The scenario identifier is built for you from the contract and the bond, so the naming stays consistent across the desk.

Section 02

Spread calculations

Spread pairs priced from Bloomberg BLPAPI through native bindings. The pair list is kept per user, so a trader's working set survives a restart and does not need rebuilding every morning.

Section 03

Market data groups

The presets behind the grid's group buttons, managed as data rather than code. Group identifiers are immutable once created, so renaming a label never orphans a saved layout.

Getting your data in

Paste the sheet you already have.

There is no migration project. Copy the rows out of Excel or Bloomberg and paste them in. Tab separated and comma separated both work.

  1. Open the import panel

One button in the top bar of the CTD section.

  2. Paste the raw rows

Straight out of the workbook or the terminal, delimiters and all.

  3. Detect columns

The panel works out the delimiter and maps your headers onto instrument, CTD, conversion factor and delivery.

  4. Fix anything it mapped wrong

A dropdown above each column in the preview, so you correct it before anything is written.

  5. Import

Dates and numbers are validated, bad rows are rejected rather than silently accepted, and the grid fills with what passed.

Going the other way, the current filtered view exports to CSV, so the numbers still reach whatever downstream model expects a file.

Working together

Edits are deliberate, and they are attributable.

Local until committed
Changes are held on your machine and marked unsaved. Save one row on its own, or commit the batch. Nothing reaches the server because you tabbed through a cell.
Audit line
The footer carries the name of whoever saved the table last and the time they did it. Visible to everyone in the card, not buried in a log.
Live notification
When a colleague updates a scenario from another machine, the card tells you while you are in it. You are never quietly working from a stale basket.
Unsaved reminder
If edits sit uncommitted, the card prompts you rather than letting the work evaporate at the end of the day.
Conflict handling
A server update that lands while your form is dirty is announced, not silently merged over your work. Saves carry the version you started from, so the overwrite is a decision rather than an accident.

Next step

Bring your delivery sheet.

Send us a sample of the workbook you keep today and we will load it into FinXAnalytics before the call, so you are looking at your own basket rather than a demo one.
